The Role

As a Senior Pega Developer the incumbent will work closely with the Senior software Engineers and Solutions Architects on enhancement projects and BAU activities.

Is this role right for you In this role you will:

• Lead the technical design and implementation of changes to the Credit Card On-onboarding system (CCRL).
• Guide the development of enhancements to the platform across the various development areas including BAU Intake and Projects.
• Lead impact reviews around planned programs / initiatives.
• Mentor internal Pega developers and Contract teams fostering a culture of innovation accountability and continuous improvement.
• Define and enforce best practices including coding standards.
• Drive experimentation and optimization through proof of concepts and other means.
• Maintain system protocols and documentation to support operational excellence and risk management
• Champion cross-functional collaboration and influence strategic decisions across initiatives.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role Wed love to work with you if you have:

• 5 years of experience in Pega Integration UI and Customer Service.
• Strong understanding of Scotiabanks Customer Experience Center platform and Cloud platform (Azure GCP) .
• Good understanding of Credit Card on-boarding and processing .
• Extensive banking experience focused on Credit Card Processing.
• Bachelors degree in computer science computer engineering or related field required.
• Familiarity with data flows REST APIs and real-time orchestration
• Proven experience in designing and deploying real-time solutions in a financial services environment
