The NATO Information and Communication Agency (NCIA) located in The Hague the Netherlands is currently involved in the development and support of new and existing capabilities for light of these activities the NATO Digital Workplace Centre (NDWC) within the framework of its mandate is adapting innovative and secure communications solutions for NATO staff across the order to connect communicate and collaborate with NATO staff members NDWC is looking for communication support to boost internal and external communication enhance the coherence of all NDWC capabilities and initiatives and provide the necessary information to the end users of its services.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Refine Communication KPIs
    • Define annual communication objectives in coordination with the NDWC Chief.
    • Adjust existing communication plans to align with NDWCs business strategy.
    • Create detailed monthly campaign plans to improve KPIs.
  • Implement and Execute Communication Plans
    • Execute monthly communication campaigns in line with the approved plan.
    • Develop and produce tailored communication materials (text visuals presentations etc.).
    • Ensure messaging consistency across all NDWC channels.
  • Monitor Analyze and Report
    • Prepare standardized monthly progress reports.
    • Deliver mid-term KPI reports (quantitative and qualitative).
    • Produce annual progress reports summarizing achievements challenges and future improvements.
  • Coordination and Compliance
    • Coordinate all communication messaging with the NDWC Chief.
    • Store all project materials on the NCIA SharePoint Portal.
    • Use NCIA-approved templates and follow NATO security guidelines for all deliverables.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • BSc/BA in PR communications journalism or relevant field or relevant professional experience.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in communication strategy and execution in the last 5 years.
  • At least 2 years of prior experience/knowledge in working with NCIA or any other NATO agencies or organizations such as NATO HQ IS/IMS ACO ACT.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Desirable qualifications:
    • Proven experience in supporting Digital Transformation by creating engaging communication materials including video and print to effectively convey key messages to diverse stakeholders.
    • Proven experience in designing and executing communications plans targeted at end users with the objective of influencing behaviors and supporting adoption of change initiatives.
