Job Summary
We are seeking an innovative practical and highly motivated Design Technology ECT who is keen to deliver engaging hands-on and industry-relevant learning experiences to students. As a Design Technology Teacher this role will involve teaching within a successful and well-resourced DT department across KS4 and KS5 supported by excellent facilities technical staff and an experienced leadership team. This is a superb opportunity for a Newly Qualified DT Teacher to build confidence develop strong classroom practice and grow professionally within an Outstanding environment.
You will have the opportunity to teach across a range of DT specialisms contribute to curriculum development and be actively involved in practical projects competitions and enrichment opportunities. The department is extremely well regarded within the school and plays a key role in developing students technical creative and problem-solving skills.

Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Design Technology or a related subject
PGCE with QTS
Training to teach DT to KS4/5
Strong practical organisational and classroom management skills
Commitment to delivering safe high-quality practical learning
Salary
The salary for this Design Technology ECT position will be paid to scale in line with MPS1.
