Wayman Education is recruiting a Year 4 Teacher for a well-resourced primary school in Richmond. The appointed Year 4 Teacher will design and deliver engaging knowledge-rich sequences across English mathematics and foundation subjects lead focused interventions and contribute to year-group moderation. This Year 4 Teacher role in Richmond starts January 2026 with induction and handover scheduled prior to January 2026 to ensure a smooth spring-term start.

About the role
The Year 4 Teacher will prepare differentiated lessons that stretch pupils of all abilities deliver guided reading and maths mastery sessions and run targeted booster groups when required. The Year 4 Teacher will keep accurate assessment records participate in curriculum development and liaise with parents to support pupil Richmond the Year 4 Teacher will be part of a collaborative team focused on consistent high standards and professional learning.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Year 4 lessons that combine knowledge acquisition with application.
- Analyse assessment data to identify gaps and deliver high-impact small-group work.
- Lead and evaluate intervention programmes adapting approaches based on impact evidence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to moderate standards and contribute to cross-curricular projects in Richmond.

Person specification
- Qualified teacher with proven Year 4/KS2 experience and evidence of raising attainment.
- Confident in curriculum design behaviour management and assessment for learning.
- Strong communicator organised and reflective committed to the Richmond school community.
- Able to take up post January 2026 and to participate in pre-start induction before January 2026.
