Tasks
As Farm Manager you are fully responsible for all aspects of running the farm. All personnel on site report to you directly or via supervisors.
Your responsibility covers:
- Daily operations in all functional areas:
Building and enforcing clear processes and a culture of continuous improvement
Initiating and supporting scientific experiments to develop new state-of-the-art agricultural and processing methods
Ensuring the farm fulfills its operational financial environmental and social objectives
You live on the farm in the Chaco and work closely with both the local team in Paraguay and the core team in Munich.
Requirements
Overall Leadership & Farm Operations:
Full operational responsibility for all farm activities and approx. 100 employees.
Plan and steer daily operations across cattle neem infrastructure and support functions.
Ensure safe reliable and efficient farm operations while delivering on operational financial environmental and social targets.
Production & Infrastructure Management
Oversee the complete production chain: cattle raising grazing (incl. Ultra High Density Rotational Grazing) feeding and animal health.
Manage the neem value chain: greenhouse operations large-scale planting tree care harvesting and processing into powder and oil.
Safeguard critical farm infrastructure: water systems (wells desalination reservoirs) energy systems (solar battery generators) facilities (housing canteen school) workshops machinery and IT/communication systems.
Process Design & Continuous Improvement
Develop and implement clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all functions.
Ensure SOPs are understood and consistently followed.
Identify operational gaps and inefficiencies drive corrective actions and build a culture of accountability learning and continuous improvement through training coaching and systematic follow-up.
Science Data & Technology Driven Optimization
Initiate and support field trials and experiments (e.g. grazing irrigation tree management processing).
Use data and technology (IoT satellite imagery drone data proprietary Farm Apps) to monitor performance and guide decisions.
Collaborate closely with the Munich headquarters and Neem Products Paraguay providing transparent operational technical and data-based insights.
Financial Stewardship & Long-Term Planning
Take full P&L ownership including budgeting cost control and financial reporting.
Develop and execute annual and multi-year production plans for herd pasture planting harvesting and processing capacities.
Align operational planning with the owners long-term science-based regenerative agriculture strategy.
