Job Description

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Quality Engineer with strong technical leadership abilities and hands-on automation expertise. The ideal candidate will have experience in test architecture distributed systems testing and working with POS systems or hardware integrations.

Required Qualifications

7 years in Quality Engineering or Software Engineering.
2 years in a senior or technical lead role.
Strong experience in mocked environments service virtualization or stubbing strategies for distributed systems.
Hands-on CI/CD experience (preferably GitHub Actions) deploying containerized applications.
Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java TypeScript/JavaScript Python etc.
Experience with automation frameworks such as Karate Cypress BDD tools or other API-focused frameworks.
Understanding of performance testing concepts and tooling.
Ability to work effectively in high-change ambiguous environments with fast decision-making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with retail or POS systems especially at the software integration layer.
Experience building custom test harnesses or testing frameworks.
Experience influencing teams transitioning from hardware-dependent testing to modern CI-driven workflows.
