Job Summary

JD: Procurement Systems Analyst

Division - Strategic Procurement and Planning Division
Job Location - Chennai - Brigade World Trade Center

Position Summary
The main responsibility of this position is to work with procurement teams to understand
business needs and configure procurement systems so that parts are automatically
assigned to category teams. This role also involves maintaining these systems leading
corrective action efforts to fix configuration and data quality issues and partnering with
internal data teams to find and solve persistent problems. Strong written and verbal
communication skills are needed to discuss business requirements and provide updates
to leadership and stakeholders throughout the process of resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities
Work closely with procurement teams to understand business needs and
translate them into system requirements.
Set up and maintain automated procurement systems for accurate part
assignment to category teams.
Identify analyze and resolve data issues through root cause analysis and
corrective actions.
Collaborate with internal data partners to uncover underlying causes of system or
data problems assign ownership for resolution and monitor issues through to
completion.
Communicate status findings and recommendations clearly to leadership and
relevant internal partners.

SKILLS & TARGET PROFICIENCY LEVELS
Data-driven Decision Making: Knowledge of the data-driven decision-making process
and associated tools and techniques; ability to gather and analyze data to make
organizational decisions that align with strategic business objectives and goals.

Level Working Knowledge:
Applies an assigned technique for data-driven thinking in a Decision-Making
process.
Discerns between and when interpreting data.
Identifies obtains and organizes relevant data and ideas.
Utilizes the basic data collection and evaluation tools and techniques.
Basic understanding of Boolean logic.
