Job Title: Storekeeper/Warehouse Operator

Work Location: Mobile AL (36605)

Duration: 10 Months contract

Shift: 1st shift Monday Friday 7:00 AM start 8 hours/day

Pay Rate: $20 $22/hr

Role Summary:
The Warehouse Operator will handle product and material movement within the warehouse while following all company policies and safety standards. Responsibilities include inspecting and receiving incoming shipments completing order fulfillment maintaining accurate inventory and improving warehouse efficiency and housekeeping. Forklift/material-handling equipment operation will be required upon completion of training and certification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform receiving labeling storing picking packing issuing and disposal of inventory items
• Verify supplier deliveries against packing lists and report discrepancies
• Ensure outgoing shipments are accurately documented and properly packed
• Support kitting Kanban replenishment and material management initiatives
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory
• Maintain clean safe warehouse and shipping/receiving areas
• Identify improvements for bin location efficiency and safety
• Resolve local warehouse and inventory issues as directed
• Operate forklift/equipment after training and certification
• Follow all QHSE guidelines and company policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• 5 years of warehouse experience
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Able to perform moderately complex calculations
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements
• Experience with SAP S4 Hana
• Experience with Windows operating systems
• Ability to use necessary technical tools/instruments
