Job Summary

IT Support Engineer Dublin (Onsite)


Elevate Partners are proud to partner with a leading Financial Services organisation to appoint an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their Dublin office. This is a high-visibility onsite role providing white-glove technical support to local users while contributing to global technology operations across the UK Europe and the US.


The successful candidate will act as the primary IT contact for the Dublin office ensuring a seamless high-quality support experience and maintaining a reliable secure and efficient technology environment. This role suits someone who prides themselves on exceptional service clear communication strong judgement and the ability to take ownership of issues from start to finish.


About the Role

This position combines day-to-day desk-side and remote support with broader involvement in Technology Operations across the global business. You will take ownership of the Dublin IT estate manage local infrastructure and assets and support the administration of systems including Microsoft 365 Intune Entra ID and modern workplace technologies.


The role also involves identifying opportunities to streamline operations through automation and scripting to enhance the efficiency of the Global Service Desk team and enable greater focus on strategic improvement initiatives.


This is a fully onsite role Monday to Friday with occasional flexibility required for out-of-hours or weekend work. Some travel may be required including an initial onboarding week in the London office.


Key Responsibilities


IT Service Desk and User Support

Act as the main point of contact for Dublin-based users providing high-quality desk-side and remote technical support across devices applications and network services.

Deliver 1st and 2nd line support in collaboration with global teams ensuring timely and effective issue resolution.

Maintain clear communication with users and stakeholders providing updates on incidents and ensuring strong customer satisfaction.

Support remote users across global offices as part of the Global Service Desk team.

Manage video conferencing technologies meeting support and user training as required.

Carry out device setups refreshes upgrades and IMAC requests.

Ensure New Hire Change and Leaver processes are completed accurately and securely.

Manage local hardware and software assets.


Systems Security and Cloud Administration

Support the administration of the Microsoft 365 environment including Entra ID Intune Exchange Online SharePoint Teams and related technologies.

Maintain security standards including device patching updates antivirus and compliance.

Assist with Active Directory DNS DHCP Group Policy and related infrastructure services.

Monitor systems performance and support the rollout of technology and security improvements.

Collaborate with external service providers and global technology teams.


About You

Strong background in IT support ideally within a professional or financial services environment.

Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering a premium support experience.

Practical experience with Microsoft 365 Intune Windows operating systems and modern workplace tools.

Proactive organised and dependable with the ability to work independently.
