About the Role
Our client a major player in Australias infrastructure and construction sector is looking for an Operations Quality Manager to support project teams across Victoria South Australia and Tasmania. This position plays a key role in ensuring quality systems processes and practices are implemented consistently across the region and aligned with national standards.
Youll be based in Melbourne and work closely with senior leaders project teams and quality specialists to lift quality performance drive improvements and support the delivery of major projects.
What Youll Be Doing
Oversee rollout of the organisations quality management systems and digital tools across regional projects
Review and approve project quality plans procedures and requests to vary quality processes
Provide guidance coaching and consistency in quality practices across multiple project teams
Support tenders planning and delivery phases with specialist quality advice
Mentor and support Quality personnel across the region
Represent the region in national quality forums and contribute to strategic quality initiatives
Lead and coordinate quality improvement activities
Develop and manage regional audit schedules conduct audits and ensure close-out of actions
Analyse process outcomes and identify opportunities for improvement
Requirements
Degree in Engineering Construction Science Quality or similar
Lead Auditor qualification (QMS)
5 years experience in quality management ideally on major projects ($100m)
Background in construction transport or large infrastructure delivery
Experience implementing and managing QA systems from project start to finish
Strong leadership stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience in risk management and audit practices (23 years)
