About the Role
SecurTec is seeking an Armed Security Officer to provide security services for a high-activity residential community in West Palm Beach. This environment requires strong situational awareness firm but respectful communication and the ability to manage encounters with a wide range of individuals.
This is an active post where your presence professionalism and consistency directly contribute to maintaining order and safety in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a highly visible armed presence throughout the property
- Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of buildings parking lots and common areas
- Monitor entry and exit points; verify resident and visitor access
- Respond promptly to disturbances safety issues and emergency situations
- De-escalate conflicts professionally and enforce community rules
- Document all daily activities and incidents accurately
- Build rapport with residents while maintaining firm boundaries and professionalism
Requirements
Requirements
- Valid Florida Class G Security License (required)
- Florida Class D License
- Strong situational awareness and conflict-management skills
- Ability to patrol on foot and remain alert throughout the shift
- Professional communication and presence
- Reliable transportation
- Availability during late afternoon into early evening hours
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in busy or high-activity residential environments
- Military law enforcement or advanced security training
- CPR/First Aid/AED certification
