Summary of the Job:

The Director Strategic Planning & Business Operations serves as a key strategic and operational leader within the Partnership Division reporting directly to the Division Head. This role integrates strategy development execution discipline and business performance insight. It serves as the central coordination point for strategic planning implementation tracking and performance interpretationpartnering closely with Finance and Partnership Data Management (PDM) to ensure alignment with enterprise standards. This leader designs and manages comprehensive planning frameworks supports rigorous execution management establishes unified reporting rhythms and coordinates cross-functional efforts to drive consistent momentum and organizational alignment across all partnership business lines.

About This Role:

Strategic Planning & Development

  • Lead development of the Partnership Divisions annual and multi-year strategic plans in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Collaborate with business line leaders Finance and PDM to translate strategic objectives into specific measurable action plans and aligned performance metrics.

Execution Management & Coordination

  • Design and implement execution frameworks with clear accountability timelines and success metrics.
  • Establish and manage the division-wide strategic planning calendar and governance cadence.
  • Coordinate quarterly business reviews monthly progress assessments and strategic planning sessions.
  • Facilitate cross-functional coordination to ensure initiatives remain on track.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between division leadership and business managers on strategic execution.

Business Performance & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain strategic dashboards and summaries
  • Work with PDM & Finance to create regular reports on goal achievement KPI performance and strategic initiative progress. Establish standardized reporting formats and processes across all business lines.
  • Provide insights on strategic performance gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and performance narratives

The Ideal Candidate for This Role:

Experience & Education:

  • 1012 years of progressive leadership experience across strategy business operations or consulting.
  • 5 years in strategic planning business development or operations.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience managing strategic initiatives in complex environments.

  • Strong strategic thinking with exceptional execution and project management skills.
  • Excellent facilitation and communication abilities.
  • Experience designing strategic planning frameworks and performance measurement systems.
  • Collaborative leadership with strong cross-functional influence.
  • Ability to translate strategy into actionable plans.

  • Ability to build and scale strategic planning capabilities.
  • Experience coaching leaders on strategic thinking.
  • Proven success leading strategic review processes.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information and provide clear insights.
  • Experience partnering with senior executives on strategy.

  • Achievement of strategic milestones and objectives.
  • Quality and effectiveness of strategic planning practices.
  • Advancement of strategic capabilities among leaders.

  • Clarity consistency and relevance of performance strategic reporting and analysis.
  • Effectiveness of meeting cadence and governance structures in driving results.
  • Timeliness and quality of cross-functional coordination.

Business Results:

  • Division performance against goals and KPIs.
  • Progress toward strategic objectives and long-term growth targets.
  • ROI of strategic initiatives and resource allocation effectiveness.

Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship.

Compensation:

Compensation range (base pay): $95857.00-$162957.00

This role may have a specific starting pay within this range.

Final compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon work experience education and/or skill level.

It is anticipated that the incumbent in this role will work onsite at the posted location.
