Under the direction of the Bureau Chief manages the Illinois Youth Investment Program (IYIP) and Youth Employment Programs within the Bureau of Positive Youth Development. Responsible for developing organizing and evaluating achievements of goals and objectives of programs. Prepares and disseminates competitive and non-competitive notices of funding opportunities and/or requests for proposals coordinates and monitors the entire application process ensuring compliance with the Grant Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) 30ILCS708; 2CFR200 the Illinois procurement Code etc. Serves as full-line supervisor. Develops updates and conducts program trainings and orientations regarding program implementation evaluation requirements policies and procedures for the Illinois Youth Investment Program or other Youth employment programs and related projects and initiatives to new and existing grantees Division/Department staff public officials and other state agency personnel. Directs efficient use of program resources including the assurance that statutory responsibilities and programs exist within approved budgets. Consults with Bureau staff to ensure the comprehensive integration and coordination of program activities and functions.
