Seeking a AWS Cloud Data Architect with Deep expertise in AWS data services (e.g. Redshift Glue Lake Formation S3 Kinesis).
About The Role
As an AWS Cloud Data Architect you will lead the design and delivery of cloud-native data solutions that are secure resilient and aligned with the strategic data vision. You will play a key role in modernising legacy platforms enabling real-time data access and supporting advanced analytics capabilities.
This role requires a strong understanding of how data architecture decisions impact end users business processes and service delivery. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure solutions deliver tangible business value improve data accessibility and support informed decision-making across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement secure scalable and high-performing data architectures on AWS.
Lead the migration of legacy data services to modern cloud-native platforms.
Embed security by design across all data solutions including encryption access control monitoring and compliance with cloud security and protective security frameworks.
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to understand user needs and ensure data solutions are fit-for-purpose and value-driven.
Translate complex business requirements into practical secure and sustainable technical solutions.
Champion best practices in cloud data engineering DevSecOps and infrastructure-as-code.
Provide technical leadership mentoring and knowledge transfer to delivery teams.

Deep expertise in AWS data services (e.g. Redshift Glue Lake Formation S3 Kinesis).
Strong understanding of cloud security principles including IAM encryption network security and compliance (e.g. ISM PSPF).
Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale data platforms that improve user experience and business outcomes.
Ability to balance technical excellence with a strong focus on end-user impact and organisational value.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Contract: 12 Month Contract with 2 x 12 months extension
Security Required: Baseline security Clearance required
Location- Brisbane Adelaide Canberra Melbourne and Sydney
