The Payroll Administrator is responsible for the accurate preparation documentation distribution and reconciliation of the payroll and the payroll administration process.
Principle Responsibilities
- Reviews the computation of employee pay manage deductions and ensure compliance with tax regulations and associated deductions for accuracy.
- Attention to detail strong computer literacy and up-to-date knowledge of employment law and tax forms. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the city state provincial local and federal legislation affecting payroll
- Collaboration with HR and finance teams to maintain accurate payroll records. Respond to and resolve any inquiries regarding paychecks or payroll reporting.
- Process W4 & direct deposit changes as well as garnishments and other payroll-related processes.
- Assist managers and employees with questions related to payroll and timecards.
- Strong adherence to confidentiality.
Qualifications :
Competencies
- Experience with ADP payroll systems preferred or similar payroll system
- Microsoft Word Processing software
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel software
- Excellent customer service
Education/Experience
- Associates degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
- 2-4 years of Payroll Administrative experience
The posted salary range for this position is $55000 - $65000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidates skills experience and qualifications.
