You will be joining a high-performing construction group that is in growth mode with strong workflows and a stable client base.

About the role:

You will work closely with experienced construction partners across the full project lifecycle with a strong emphasis on disputes and security of payment. Work will typically include:

  • Acting on complex construction and infrastructure disputes across all major courts and tribunals in NSW
  • Running security of payment adjudications and related enforcement proceedings
  • Advising asset owners institutional investors developers and government entities on risk allocation time cost and quality issues
  • Involvement in front-end and advisory work including drafting and negotiating project documentation and supporting clients through procurement and delivery
  • Working across a broad mix of matters from early strategic advice through to formal dispute resolution

The ideal candidate:

  • At least 5 years PAE in construction law gained in a well-regarded construction or disputes practice
  • Strong experience in NSW courts and tribunals including security of payment adjudications
  • Solid drafting skills and confidence managing matters with a good degree of autonomy
  • A genuine passion for construction infrastructure and project work
  • A proactive self-starting mindset and strong communication skills
  • Enjoyment of a fast-paced but supportive environment and an interest in mentoring junior lawyers and paralegals
