Job Summary
- Rooming patients
- Administering IM injections
- Scribing for Physicians and Nurse Practitioner during visits
- Setting up and assisting during surgical and cosmetic procedures including Mohs Surgery
- Suture removals
- Stocking and sanitizing rooms
- Autoclaving instruments
- Communicating biopsy prescription and lab results to patients
- Maintaining pathology log
- Scheduling patients surgical procedures
- Administering Photodynamic Therapy
Qualifications :
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Confident with Sterile technique
- Eager to learn about Dermatology in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Word
- Comfortable using various computer programs and Electronic Medical Record systems
- Lead MA experience is a plus
Job Type:
- Part-time 2 or 3 days a week - TBD
Experience:
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred
- Candidates with Dermatology experience are more competitive in this role
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Certifications/Licenses:
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant preferred
