AECOM Water is seeking an Environmental or Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Austin TX office. The qualified applicant will have familiarity and/or exposure to water/wastewater engineering and construction management this role youll have the opportunity to to support the design construction and operation of municipal water and/or wastewater treatment and conveyance infrastructure.
The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Performs portions of assigned water and wastewater biologic treatment infrastructure related projects
- Gathers and correlates basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures
- Works on detailed or routine engineering assignments involving design calculations preparation of technical memorandum preparation of contract documents such as specifications and drawings
- Proposes approach to solve new problems encountered using modifications of standard procedures or methods developed in previous assignments
Qualifications :
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering
- Texas EIT
- 2 Years of Treatment design experience
- Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work well in teams
- Flexible can adapt to shifting priorities / work schedules
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Project)
- Participate as member of professional and technical societies
