Role Summary
The HR Business Partner India & APAC plays a key role in supporting our teams and ensuring a strong employee experience across the region.
The role is primarily focused on India combining HR Business Partnering Industrial Relations and statutory compliance.
In Malaysia and Australia the position provides light HR coordination and administrative support in close partnership with the Head of HR EMEA & APAC who leads strategic HR matters for the role requires a hands-on mindset strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both blue-collar and white-collar teams.
Key Responsibilities :
1) India HR Business Partnering (Primary Scope)
- Act as main HRBP for India supporting managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
- Guide leaders on performance employee relations and people processes.
- Partner with Legal/Compliance on sensitive ER topics.
- Support engagement communication and recognition initiatives.
- Provide People Ops insights to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Manage employee benefits insurance updates and HR data accuracy.
2) India Industrial Relations & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Indian labor laws and statutory requirements.
- Maintain statutory registers (attendance overtime grievance welfare workplace facilities).
- Oversee blue-collar workforce administration and contract labor processes.
- Support inspections and liaise with government authorities as needed.
- Handle dispute resolution involving employees subcontractors or authorities.
- Ensure accurate documentation and workforce records at all sites.
3) Malaysia & Australia HR Coordination & Administration (Light Scope)
- Coordinate basic HR processes such as onboarding contracts and data updates.
- Maintain personnel records and documentation aligned with global standards.
- Provide administrative support for payroll inputs attendance and benefits updates.
- Act as regional point of contact for day-to-day HR requests.
- Coordinate local tasks in partnership with the Head of HR EMEA & APAC who leads strategic HR topics.
4) People Operations & Employee Experience (Regional)
- Support surveys engagement and feedback initiatives.
- Coordinate learning and development activities with global and local teams.
- Ensure timely processing of full & final settlements.
Provide accurate attendance inputs for HR Shared Services.
Qualifications :
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in HR Business Industrial Relations or related field.
- Several years of HR experience with strong exposure to IR and statutory compliance in India.
- Solid HR operational background: HRBP or HR Generalist experience preferred.
- Familiarity with HR administration in APAC environments (Malaysia/Australia is a plus).
- Strong communication skills in English and Hindi; additional Indian languages beneficial.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across all levels.
- Hands-on structured and proactive working style.
- Proficient in MS Office tools.
Physical Demands
- Based at the Delhi corporate office.
- Willingness to travel across India (up to 75%).
- Visits to labor offices inspector premises and government authorities as required.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital personnel records across the region.
