QAQC Head – Project SupervisionConstruction Management

Position Overview

We are hiring for the position of QA/QC Head for multiple upcoming projects across Pan India. This role involves leading and managing all aspects of quality assurance and quality control for large-scale infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in establishing and implementing QA/QC systems ensuring compliance with quality standards and driving excellence in construction practices. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC policies procedures and plans for large infrastructure projects. 
• Lead the QA/QC team to ensure effective implementation of quality measures across all project sites. 
• Act as the primary point of contact for all QA/QC-related matters ensuring alignment with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and maintain quality management systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards. 
• Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to monitor adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement. 
• Ensure that all materials equipment and construction processes meet the required quality benchmarks.
• Supervise the testing and inspection of materials equipment and construction works to ensure compliance with approved designs and specifications. 
• Review and approve quality documentation including inspection test plans (ITPs) material submittals and method statements. 
• Monitor and verify the quality of work performed by contractors and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with local and international quality standards such as ISO 9001 NBC and IS codes. 
• Identify potential quality risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project outcomes. 
• Investigate quality-related issues identify root causes and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
• Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with QA/QC policies and procedures. 
• Prepare and present detailed quality reports including key performance indicators (KPIs) audit findings and improvement plans. 

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (mandatory). 
• Masters degree in Civil Engineering Quality Management or Construction Management (preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in QA/QC for large-scale infrastructure projects such as airports shopping malls or commercial complexes. 
• Proven experience in project supervision and construction management with a focus on quality assurance and control.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes standards and best practices in construction. 
• Proficiency in quality management tools and techniques. 
• Familiarity with international quality certifications such as ISO 9001 or equivalent. 
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies materials and testing procedures.

Additional Information :

• Certification in quality management (e.g. ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Six Sigma or equivalent). 
• Experience in managing QA/QC for live environments such as operational airports or malls. 
• Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage on-site teams and contractors.
