APAC Regional Commercial ITMP Project Support

Job Purpose/Role

• Temporary role (25-month contract)
• Location: Hong Kong
• Reporting to the Regional Commercial Underwriting Director responsible for the ITMP roll out for core APAC.

The APAC Regional Commercial ITMP Project Support will support the commercial and technical roll out of the STCI product for all core APAC countries. This will include both commercial tasks (such as policy wording and communication guidance) as well as involvement in technical implementation of the new IT platform Compass. They will work closely with Regional Commercial Underwriting as well as with other Regional departments (Policy Admin Claims and Collection Finance) and local commercial teams.

At the same time they will support the APAC Regional Commercial Underwriting Team in Short Term Trade Credit Insurance. Responsibilities will include roll out and maintenance of harmonized Policy Wordings throughout the Region as well as supporting the implementation of the commercial underwriting framework and steering of the portfolio to support the commercial teams to underwrite and approve policy conditions according to our new business retention and profitability objectives with a focus on sustainable and profitable business and consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to the Regional Commercial Underwriting Director for commercial and technical roll out of the ITMP system and the updated CA WP and WFP wordings
• Coordination with the local commercial teams and other regional departments for efficient commercial and technical roll out of the ITMP system
• Provide support for impact of APAC fronters on the portfolio and ITMP roll out
• Support for commercial underwriting in APAC markets including preparing information for specific deal reviews portfolio steering underwriting guidance underwriting infrastructure reviews and other CUW related tasks
• Ensuring Regional consistency of the Product Libraries and Product offer (in line with Group CUW) to ensure consistency of products and manage a database of key changes and differentials.
• Back-up other Regional CUW colleagues during specific projects / leave

Key Requirements/Skills/Experience

• Bachelors degree in a business-related discipline.
• At least 2 years relevant work experience preferably in trade credit insurance any project related especially in ITMP roll out experience is a plus
• Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Good at building and maintaining relationships with counterparts.
• Hands on attitude and a problem solver
• Conversant with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
