Control and contribute the initiation of programmatic scope
1. Support in the identification of scope able to progress to projects
2. Provide and guidance on documentation needed to pass through gate0
3. Facilitate of Value Management and Requirements Management workshops/meetings and production of key documentation
4. Seek (SMEs and other functions) input / advise Programme to further develop scope
5. Lead teams of engineers to deliver early project delivery (Feasibility and Appraise and Select)
6. Lead stakeholders to a point of consensus on route forward
To Lead and direct a multi-disciplinary engineering Team on Programme Level Projects to:
1. Input to the assurance of incoming scope from client
2. Develop an outline requirement specification
3. Facilitate Value Management Workshops to develop Long to Shortlist of options
4. Develop the engineering maturity of scope
5. Identify the TRL levels and associated development plans to deliver a viable solution
6. Prepare a plan for the delivery of the appraise and select phase of the project. Deliver to the agreed time cost and quality. As a senior AEM leading the multidiscipline teams responsible for estimating scheduling forecasting and the production of the agreed design deliverables.
Management of the DSA teams in production of deliverables Development of the safety case(s) including attendance at HAZOPs support to safety assessment review of ES production of substantiation documentation. Resource identification of additional resource demand where required to ensure all deliverables can be originated and checked in accordance with the project schedule dates Interfacing with other Project Discipline leads within the project(s)
Interfacing and engagement with Site clients and collaboratively with full integrated project team including construction commissioning pre ops human factors and client to ensure functional requirements are met. (Constructability commissionability HAZCON conventional safety environmental).
Qualifications :
Engineering background with a proven record of successful delivery including recent roles influencing professional engineers and guiding technical personnel
Significant experience in an engineering design environment with engineering knowledge as a key attribute and proven project delivery across the full project lifecycle
Recent experience within a regulated and quality-assured system (preferably nuclear) where professional engineering judgement was key
Knowledge and understanding of governing laws regulations and standards for the nuclear industry (equivalent experience from other industries will be considered)
Experience with Project System Engineering and the system engineering approach to design
Familiarity with NEC3 contract terms and conditions
Experience in the delivery of projects related to cooling systems and CE&I power distribution
Additional Information :
Ability to obtain SC Clearance or above Ability to obtain P1 Pass Minimum Monitored Worker
