Job Summary
Bonus Metal Canada Inc. is currently looking for a Non-Ferrous Receiver. Reporting to the Production Supervisor the incumbent receives different types of metals performs an initial classification and directs them to the appropriate locations.
What youre responsible for:
- Welcome clients courteously while following our procedures and requirements.
- Assist with unloading materials.
- Receive sort and organize different types of non-ferrous metals.
- Inspect clients metals.
- Identify the correct type of metal for each product and verify its quality.
- Weigh and track materials accurately.
- Enter data into the RECY system.
- Operate various types of machinery (e.g. forklift).
- Prepare receiving/shipping tickets.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the premises.
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You have between one (1) and three (3) years of experience in a similar role.
- You have knowledge of metal recycling (major asset).
- You have experience operating a forklift (major asset; on-site training provided).
- You are in good physical condition;
- You are bilingual (asset).
- You demonstrate professional and safe behavior.
- You are responsible and resourceful;
- You work well in a team.
- You have excellent priority management skills.
- You provide outstanding customer service.
