At Epworth Freemasons our Day Oncology Unit is a beautiful modern space designed to provide comfort and exceptional care for patients undergoing cancer treatment. With 3 Hillrom beds and 17 recliner chairs we deliver personalised evidence-based care for patients with a wide range of cancers including breast renal pancreatic colorectal gastric and lung as well as specialist infusional therapies.
We are proud to partner with Haematology and Oncology Clinical Trials Teams and offer advanced procedures such as ECP (Photopheresis) TPE (Plasma Exchange) and stem cell collection/transplantmaking us the only private hospital in Victoria offering ECP.

To be successful in this role
You are an experienced oncology or haematology nurse who is passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes. A strong communicator you have a supportive and engaging style that enables you to easily build rapport with patients and their families. You enjoy collaborating with team members to support the development and growth of the service. You are invested in your career and are seeking to partake in career development pathways.
About You:
- Current AHPRA nursing registration.
- Experience in Oncology and/or Haematology nursing.
- Competence in cytotoxic administration.
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in cancer care.
- Postgraduate qualifications in Oncology (or working towards) desirable.
- Chemotherapy competency or willingness to complete training.
- Apheresis and transplant skills highly valued.

As one of Victorias leading maternity hospitals Epworth Freemasons specialises in womens and mens health services including breast and gynaecological surgery endoscopy and urology. Epworth Freemasons also offers comprehensive cancer care and a full range of surgical services including robotic assisted surgery orthopaedics and ICU care.
Epworth Freemasons has recently upgraded and expanded its operating theatres and admissions facilities along with major refurbishments of patient rooms and building infrastructure.

The annual salary for a full time Registered Nurses AUD $71622 - $100564 super entitlements depending on registration type year level and position (prorated for part-time)
