Applications are invited from experienced Angiography Registered Nurses who are seeking a new challenge in their career. This role offers an exciting opportunity within a busy Cardiac Cath Lab in an acute private hospital setting.
Flinders Private Hospital Angiography department consists of three recently renovated Cath labs performing over 4000 cases each year to both public and private sector patients. Exposure to full range of Interventional Cardiology Structural Heart EP and Pacing. The site is co-located with a large tertiary teaching hospital.
About the role:
Ability to use initiative multi-task and practice good problem-solving skills
Ability to establish excellent working relationships with our Visiting Medical Officers
Excellent customer service and communication skill set
Participation in a 24hour on-call roster and ability to work flexible hours Monday - Saturday
Confidence in scrub / scout / monitor (Maclab system)
Anaesthetic nursing skill desirable but not essential
Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
Must be located within 30 minutes of Flinders Private Hospital for on call duties

About you:
Current ALS-1 Certificate
Provides leadership within a team with a can do attitude
Passion for delivering exceptional patient care in an empathetic manner
Attention to detail and effective record management

Flinders Private Hospital offers a range of specialties including cardiology cardiothoracic surgery ENT surgery general medicine general surgery gynaecology neurosurgery orthopaedics plastic & reconstructive surgery oncology and urology. Flinders Private Hospital has 9 operating theatres a procedure room 3 angiography labs an infusion suite a 24/7 cardiac emergency centre and a 10 bed level 3 critical care unit.
If you are successful you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant nursing experience against the current nursing Enterprise Agreement the Adelaide Community Healthcare Alliance (ACHA) & Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF) South Australian Branch Nurses & Midwives Enterprise Agreement - 2024 (Agreement or Enterprise Agreement) (salaries range between $38.79 -$53.04 per hour).
