Job Summary
Epworth Rehabilitation is seeking registered nurses to work Part time/Full time with acute or rehabilitation experience across Hawthorn. Working within a multidisciplinary team environment you will join a patient-centred team caring for patients who are recovering from surgery or illness or needing support to maximise their independence. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a team motivated to assist patients in returning to their daily lives. Rehabilitation helps patients recover from an illness injury or surgical procedure manage a chronic illness or prevent further injury. This is a rewarding opportunity to work in a team motivated to assist patients in returning to their daily lives.
You will make an impact by:
- Being a key part of a team committed to delivering an exceptional patient family and staff experience while achieving high-quality clinical outcomes
- Assisting patients to access supported services to maximise their physical gains and return to a rewarding lifestyle
- Working with multidisciplinary and specialised teams to plan the care and treatment for patients through regular case conferences
- Maintaining and promoting patient safety within our satellite unit through early intervention and escalation of care
To be successful in this role:
- Current nursing registration with AHPRA
- Contemporary knowledge of best practice in acute aged or rehabilitation nursing
- Experienced registered or enrolled nurse who is passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes either from a rehab or acute setting.
- Strong collaborator with team members to support the delivery of rehabilitation care
- Confident communicator you have a supportive engaging and compassionate style that enables you to easily build rapport with staff patients and their families

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses AUD $71622 - $100564 super entitlements and Enrolled Nurses AUD $71224 - $78401 super entitlements depending on registration type year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
