Description

The Data Analyst Commercial Excellence plays a central role in ensuring data-driven visibility across the companys commercial performance. Reporting directly to the Global Commercial Excellence & Strategy Lead this role is responsible for preparing analytical reports and developing insights that support global sales effectiveness market understanding and growth initiatives.



Responsibilities


CRM Data Management & Reporting
- Ensure the accuracy completeness and consistency of CRM data across global and regional sales teams.
- Establish and maintain data quality routines audit checks and governance reports.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports (e.g. Power BI Excel) that visualize pipeline health conversion rates and sales productivity.
- Collaborate with IT and regional sales teams to ensure CRM usability and alignment with commercial reporting needs (without performing system-level coding or configuration).
- Support the rollout of CRM-related training and data discipline initiatives.

Commercial Analytics & Insights
- Analyze sales performance data to identify trends opportunities and performance gaps across geographies products and customer segments.
- Support growth and transformation initiatives by providing data-driven analyses and business cases.
- Develop presentations and summary reports for leadership highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Work closely with regional teams to ensure consistent measurement and tracking of key commercial KPIs.

Market Intelligence Support
- Collaborate with the Market Intelligence Lead by structuring and analyzing internal and external datasets (e.g. customer financials pricing competitive data).
- Develop standardized analytical templates and visualizations that translate market data into strategic insights.
- Combine internal sales data with market intelligence outputs to support opportunity sizing and share-of-wallet analysis.

Performance Tracking & Strategic Support
- Contribute to the monitoring of quick wins medium- and long-term initiatives driven by the Global Commercial Excellence & Strategy Lead.
- Ensure consistent data-backed tracking of initiative outcomes and value realization.
- Support ad-hoc analytical projects and leadership requests related to commercial performance pricing and customer segmentation.



Qualifications

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors degree in Business Economics Engineering Data Analytics or related quantitative field.
- 24 years of experience in commercial or business analytics preferably within a sales or commercial operations environment.
- Strong skills in Excel and Power BI (or similar visualization tools).
- Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce Oracle CRM) ability to manage data and reporting but not perform technical configuration.
- Familiarity with sales metrics such as funnel conversion pipeline velocity pricing and profitability analysis.
- Excellent analytical thinking and attention to detail; able to present findings clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills across regions and functions.
