Job Summary: We are seeking a Vulnerability and Patch Management Analyst who plays a critical role in maintaining the security and stability of our enterprise IT infrastructure. This position is responsible for ensuring that systems across Linux Windows and VMware environments remain secure and compliant by proactively identifying vulnerabilities and deploying patches. The role contributes to reducing risk exposure improving operational resilience and supporting business continuity by aligning remediation activities with organizational security policies and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute vulnerability remediation and patch deployments across Linux Windows and VMware environments.
- Coordinate with infrastructure and application teams to schedule and implement patching activities with minimal business disruption.
- Monitor and report on the status of vulnerabilities and patch management activities.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to vulnerability management processes and procedures.
- Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities relevant to the organizations technology stack.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proficiency in Selenium for automated testing.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management and patch management processes.
- Experience with Linux Windows and VMware environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of security compliance frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001).
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CompTIA Security Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are a plus.
