Your New Role and Responsibilities

AtLeidos Australia our Matrix Engineering Team is a hub of technical excellence supporting mission-critical programs across Defence Intelligence and Federal Government portfolios.

As a Midrange Engineer you will:

• Manage and optimize VMware vCenter ESXi clusters vSAN and related technologies.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed designs and supporting services for complex PaaS solutions.
• Develop and maintain automation for provisioning and orchestration using Ansible/Terraform; create reusable IaC modules and templates.
• Automate vCenter operations such as VM provisioning patching compliance and policy enforcement.
• Produce technical documentation and provide subject matter expertise to resolve complex technical issues.

What Youll Bring to Make an Impact

• Extensive experience with VMware VCF solutions plus integration with networks and other services.
• Demonstrated experience in both programming and infrastructure with proficiency in automation tools like Ansible and Terraform.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Server () Active Directory DNS DHCP and DFS.
• Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) VMware Certified Professional (VCP) and ITIL Foundation.
• Experience with enterprise-level backup products and storage technologies.
