Job Summary
Mechanical Engineer Building Services
A well established engineering consultancy in Adelaide is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its Building Services team. This role will support the delivery of mechanical design solutions across commercial health education defence and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design mechanical building services systems including HVAC ventilation and thermal comfort solutions
- Prepare design calculations specifications and technical reports in line with Australian Standards
- Produce and review design documentation drawings and schedules
- Coordinate with electrical hydraulic and structural engineers to deliver integrated building solutions
- Attend client and project meetings and support stakeholder communication
- Assist with site inspections and commissioning activities
About You
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- 38 years experience in building services consulting
- Experience with HVAC design load calculations and system selection
- Proficiency with engineering software such as IES CAMEL Revit or AutoCAD
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
