We have an exciting opportunity for a driven Process Engineer to join our Barlines area to support the Team in efficient and safe manufacture of high-quality product through the application of Lean manufacturing principles & concepts zero loss mindset and to drive best in class results across Safety Quality Delivery Cost and Morale (SQDCM).
How you will contribute
You will:
- Partner the Area Lead in efficient and safe manufacture of high-quality product through Servant Leadership the application of Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) principles & concepts zero loss mindset and driving best in class results in SQDCSM for the designated Area / Lines across all shifts.
- Owns Loss Analysis of the Area and engages the line teams in loss analysis deployment of targets and managing loss elimination activities.
- Recommends productivity projects based on loss analysis and utilises engineering experience to lead or support the delivery of these projects with VSU methodology.
- Builds capability on the floor by identifying helping fix problems and improving systems using the IL6S tools.

- Relevant engineering or technical experience ideally within a fast-moving consumer goods environment
- Knowledge of Integrated Lean Six Sigma (IL6S) principles
- Working knowledge of caramel cooking
- Working knowledge of nougat making
- Working knowledge of extruding sheeting and chocolate enrobing technologies
- Working in teams and independently with appropriate guidance
- Prioritizing and managing activities
- Identifying problems proactively and creating and implementing solutions
- Applying fundamental technical understanding to interpret and analyse data and to reach clear conclusions.
- Communicating technical information effectively verbally and in writing
- Technical curiosity continuous learner and a drive to ensure technical rigor.
- Strong project management skills
- Good inter-personal skills/stakeholder management on all levels
- Excellent communication skills
Education:
Engineering/Science degree from good schools
