Job Summary

Join a trusted family-owned Iowa equipment company serving since 1968! We are seeking an experienced Service Technician to repair and maintain small-engine and construction equipment including generators concrete saws pumps power buggies plate compactors mixers and light towers.

What Youll Do:

Diagnose and repair mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues.
Perform maintenance efficiently and safely.
Reference service manuals parts catalogs and diagnostic tools.
Maintain accurate service records logs and timesheets.
Mentor junior technicians as needed.
Use and maintain your own hand tools.

Requirements:

5 years of experience with small-engine or construction equipment repair.
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work extended hours (Mon-Fri 7 am-5 pm; Sat 8 am-noon).
Safety-focused detail-oriented and able to work independently.

Preferred:

Dealership or rental environment experience.
CDL or the ability to obtain one.
Knowledge of brands like Honda Wacker and Multiquip.
