Summary:
Lincolnshire County Council is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to join our Corporate Hub at the Customer Service Centre in Lincoln. As the first point of contact for a range of council servicesincluding Adult Care Childrens Services Highways Registration & Celebratory Services Library Services and moreyou will play a key role in delivering efficient and high-quality support to our residents. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic fast-paced environment with diverse responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for council services providing information and support to residents via phone email and in-person interactions.
- Gather process and record information accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with enquiries related to council housing repairs library services heritage enquiries and other local services.
- Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow up as required.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are met in all interactions.
Requirements:
- Strong passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) and Windows operating systems.
- Experience in a customer service or administrative role is desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
