The Division of Developmental Disabilities is seeking to hire a Clinical Psychologist located in Kankakee Illinois to serve as lead clinician at the State Operated Developmental Centers (SODCs) serving individuals with intellectual disabilities. Maintains a caseload and monitors and directs the handling of more complex cases. Provides leadership to psychology staff in the development and planning for behavior intervention plans. Administers psychological tests and establishes and documents diagnostic classifications. Serves as a member of Clinical Administrative Review Team (CART) provides technical assistance to community providers and SODCs. Provides initial and refresher trainings regarding learning and behavior issues/resolutions to new staff. Chairs the BSC and serves as a member of a treatment team. Aids other SODCs in psychological testing/services by reviewing and providing guidance for psychological testing. Testifies in court and signs certificates of admission; assesses individuals to determine mental capacity upon admission. Travels in the performance of duties.
