Job Summary

Join Our Team as a Sports Turf Mower Operator!

We are on the lookout for a reliable and skilled Sports Turf Mower Operator to help maintain and enhance the quality of sports fields across a variety of council-controlled sites throughout Brendale. As part of our team you will be responsible for working alongside a team to maintain and enhance sports fields by ensuring the sports turf remains pristine while ensuring even mowing and a healthy professional finish on a variety of sports fields. This is a hands-on role that requires keen attention to detail and a strong understanding of turf maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely machinery to maintain sports turf and other outdoor areas
Ensure mowing is done to the highest standards keeping grass healthy and looking great
Conduct routine equipment checks and maintain machinery in good working order
Report any maintenance or repair issues to the supervisor promptly
Assist with other turf management tasks such as edging line marking and general upkeep
Adhere to safety procedures and company guidelines to maintain a safe work environment

Key Requirements:

Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
White Card
A MR license is essential for this role
A Working with Childrens Card (WWCC) is highly desired
Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering top-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude
