Your New Role and Responsibilities
Join our team as a PMO Coordinator playing a critical role in supporting the Program Management Office for a major Federal Government initiative. While you will report day-to-day to the PMO Manager you will be accountable for delivering PMO functions and ensuring governance financial control and scheduling across the program.
In this role you will:
Lead PMO financial management including forecasting workforce planning actuals/EAC reviews and project change control applying strong financial and Excel skills.
Manage core PMO governance and administration including reporting document quality systems management onboarding/offboarding audit compliance and serving as the programs primary support contact.
Coordinate program-wide risk and issue management driving regular reviews and supporting mitigation strategies.
Maintain and update the Contract Master Schedule (CMS) in collaboration with project and transition managers.
Oversee program communications and engagement ensuring clear stakeholder messaging recognition initiatives and event coordination.
About You and What Youll Bring
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; experience in financial planning and control within projects/programs.
Experience with Microsoft SharePoint including management of information systems and repositories; Power BI reporting skills will be highly regarded.
Experience using Microsoft Project and resource-loaded schedules.
Solid understanding of project and program management principles supported by PMI CAPM PMP or PMOCP certification.
Ability to work independently use initiative and proactively engage with stakeholders to meet business reporting rhythms.

This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold NV-1 security clearance with the ability to be successful with an Organizational Suitability Assessment (OSA)
