This position is in our Food Enterprise where we are committed to serving food manufacturers food service customers and retailers with a complete range of innovative ingredients and branded products. Our portfolio includes poultry beef egg alternative protein salt oils starches sweeteners cocoa and chocolate.

A typical Work Day May Include:

  • Operate and monitor milling equipment to meet quality standards for fineness viscosity and density.
  • Perform routine maintenance and adjustments on degerminators sifters/reels filters hammermills spouting and valves.
  • Manage tempering and flaking grit production; handle feed bins and finished products.
  • Conduct regular rounds to ensure mill balance and clear equipment blockages.
  • Perform analytical tests for granulation viscosity color and moisture; adjust equipment as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records and report issues to the Production Supervisor.
  • Follow Cargill safety and food safety policies; follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform cleaning and housekeeping duties.
  • Report any abnormalities to supervisor.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

What You Will Need:

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat cold dust loud noise etc.with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator
  • Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending lifting up to 50lbs kneeling climbingcrawling and twisting with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
  • Basic use of computer
  • High school diploma/GED or a minimum of two years equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work overtime weekends and holidays or different shifts with advance notice
  • Basic mechanical aptitude

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Experience operating mobile equipment such as forklifts loaders etc.
  • Prior experience in production-related work
  • Basic experience troubleshooting various mechanical components and systems
  • Manufacturing or machinery experience
