Job Summary

IH Expense Financial Analyst (Tech & Product Enablement)

Cigna are excited to introduce a newly created position within the International Health Expense Management team. As the IH Expense Finance Analyst youll play a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy across our IHDS organisation. Reporting to the IHDS Technology Controller youll be at the heart of budgeting forecasting and performance analysisdriving insights that influence strategic decisions across global teams.

Key Responsibilities

Build Financial Models: Design and maintain robust financial models to support strategic planning and decision making. Ensure accurate financial allocations modelling is provided.

Forecasting & Budgeting: Working with Global controllers own the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process using IBM Planning Analytics.

Deliver Insightful Analysis: Track performance analyse variances and provide clear actionable recommendations.

Create Executive-Level Reports: Prepare monthly quarterly and annual reports for Functional Leaders and the IHDS Technology Controller.

Partner Across Teams: Collaborate with cost centre owners and regional finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and effective forecasting.

Drive Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.

Support Leadership Presentations: Contribute to executive-level presentation materials.

Champion Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry best practices and foster a culture of learning and innovation.

Audit: Support the UK expense team external audit ensuring audit queries and deliverables are met on a timely basis by team members.

Month End: Deliver the UK expense team month end including accruals; pre-payments; capitalisation; monthly matrix & debit notes

Adhoc: Support the IH expense team with ad-hoc reporting requests and project support

Required Skills

Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting (Masters or professional certification like ACCA CFA CPA preferred)
25 years of experience in financial planning & analysis or a related field
Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in excel
Excellence organisation skills; ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
