Job Summary

Role Overview

The Business Development Officer (Fresher) is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the sales and growth strategies of the company. This position is ideal for an ambitious highly motivated individual eager to learn the fundamentals of client acquisition market research and strategic growth. The Fresher BDO will work closely with senior team members to build a foundational understanding of the business cycle product offerings and customer relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct basic market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify new industry trends potential growth areas and competitor strategies.
  • Assist in generating qualified leads through various channels including online research cold calling email campaigns and networking.
  • Accurately update and maintain the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system with new leads prospect data and interaction notes.
  • Execute introductory calls and emails to potential clients to present the companys value proposition and qualify leads.
  • Support the creation of sales proposals presentations and pitch decks by gathering necessary data and formatting documents.
  • Conduct timely follow-ups on leads and client inquiries to ensure smooth progression through the sales pipeline.
  • Quickly develop a deep comprehensive understanding of the companys products/services pricing models and value proposition.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Product and Sales teams to align business development efforts with broader company goals.
  • Prepare daily and weekly reports on lead generation activities prospect interaction and research findings for senior management review.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing Finance or a related field.
  • Fresh Graduates (0-1 year of experience) are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • A strong desire to learn take initiative and drive tasks to completion with minimal supervision.
  • Basic proficiency in using online tools for research and the ability to analyze simple data sets.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn CRM software).
