We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support a busy healthcare team in the Cambridge/Somerville area. The ideal candidate will be dependable professional and skilled in providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws and collect lab specimens
- Take and record vital signs
- Assist providers with exams and procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical equipment
- Support patient flow and ensure a positive patient experience
- Complete documentation accurately in the electronic medical record
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Ability to perform venipuncture confidently
- Strong communication and patient-care skills
- Reliable and able to work MondayFriday
- CPR certification preferred
