An exciting opportunity to be part of a national enforcement agency has arisen within Birmingham City Councils Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT).
As part of the councils Trading Standards Department the IMLT investigates unlicensed money lenders (Loan Sharks).
Administered in Birmingham the team operates on an agile and flexible basis across the UK and is funded by Central Government.
The team work closely with other Local Authorities the Police and other agencies.
The IMLT have two enforcement teams and an intelligence department made up of specialist investigators.
The post of Deputy Operations Manager will sit within one of the enforcement teams.
Due to the nature of this role working outside of regular hours and travel across the UK will be required that will involve overnight accommodation as required.
