Head of Technology

Overstory Health Inc. seeks a Head of Technology for its Boston MA location (hybrid).

Duties: Responsible for overseeing the technology function of a behavioral health start-up. Set the technology
vision for the organization. Responsible for setting up a variety of systems with a primary focus on systems that
support intensive outpatient (IOP) and partial hospitalization (PHP) offerings for high-risk behavioral health
populations. This includes identifying selecting and implementing the electronic health record setting up the
back-end data infrastructure acting as security and privacy officer and determining IT policy for the
organization. Responsible for selecting and implementing the organizations Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
platform developing a scalable tech stack roadmap and ensuring seamless virtual care delivery. Work closely
with clinical operational and executive teams to define product requirements set technology milestones and
manage cross-functional projects. Collaborate with advisors evaluate and integrate critical tools such as
Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems to drive business development and track patient outreach.
Oversee vendor partnerships coordinate data workflows and maintain compliance with healthcare standards.

Requirements: Must possess a Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related field plus
5 years of healthcare-related software development experience. Must have at least 2 years of senior-level
management experience. Professional experience must include: Managing strategic architecture development
and implementation of scalable secure cloud-based healthcare platforms and automated data processing
solutions in compliance with HIPAA HITECH and HITRUST security frameworks; Orchestrating Agile
transformations and implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines; Utilizing
GitHub Actions Buildkite Jenkins AWS automation Terraform Docker and Kubernetes; Must have
knowledge of interoperability standards and data protocols for healthcare systems. May telecommute but must
be able to report to the Boston MA office at least 2 days per week. Salary is $238285 per year to $250000 per
year; full time;
