About the role:

The Customer Marketing Manager will deliver world-class in-store commercial solutions along the shopper journey based on customer shopper and expert insights. The role involves developing an optimal promotional program for our customers ensuring excellent in-store execution of all promotions and brand themes and supporting the development of strategic brand and account plans. The Customer Marketing Manager will be a strategic partner for Key Account Managers and Brand Managers creating joint business planning and serving as the key contact person for retailers category and trade marketing management.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead promotional projects in OTC (Over-the-Counter) or OHC (Oral Health Care) categories for one of our major retailers in the Benelux using shopper insights and retail analyses in collaboration with the NRM team.
  • Manage deadlines for promotional development and act as the key contact for third-party agencies.
  • Support joint business planning and ensure effective execution of promotional calendars.
  • Drive in-store performance metrics and operational excellence.
  • Execute the marketing mix to drive conversion while maintaining Haleons customer and brand positioning.
  • Continuously improve the effectiveness of in-store POS materials and identify new ways to drive category growth with key retailers.
  • Build strong key account and brand plans in collaboration with Brand Marketing and the Key Account Manager.
  • Analyze market data and promotional effectiveness and identify knowledge gaps in shopper behavior.
  • Support the Customer Marketing team in daily activities to ensure an aligned Customer Marketing strategy for Benelux

Qualifications and skills:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer marketing project management and promotional development.
  • Strong knowledge of shopper insights retail analysis and key account strategies.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Skilled in budget management and promotional effectiveness analysis.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Innovative mindset focused on continuous improvement and category growth.
  • Full professional proficiency in Dutch.
