Join Our Team as an R&D Engineer at Nilfisks Largest Factory in Nagykanizsa!
At our Nagykanizsa facility were excited to welcome a new member to our R&D Continuation Engineering team. Here youll extend the core capabilities of our R&D engineering department for industrial vacuum cleaners and high-pressure washers directly into our production facility.
You will have a wide stakeholder map in this existing role. Nilfisks R&D Continuation Engineering team bridges the gap between innovation and production ensuring seamless integration of new developments into our manufacturing processes. As part of this team youll collaborate with R&D competence centers on NPD projects work closely with sourcing departments to enhance component quality supplier quality delivery and cost and coordinate with various departments to expedite implementation of changes in production.

Youll join a close-knit team of 8 dedicated R&D Engineers all driven by a shared passion for excellence. Reporting to the R&D Continuation Engineering Manager youll find professional freedom trust and support.
Your main tasks will be:
- Product line maintenance tasks
- Technical documentation in Windchill PDMLink system
- Build update BOM structure
- Create update 3D models and drawings manage verification activities including prototypes
- Manage changes through the Engineering Change Management process
- Review & address Deviation Approval for non-complying production components
- Provide technical support as needed to assembly lines and technical service and assist in troubleshooting and refinement processes
- Support resolving claims regarding technical issues form market (Technical Failure Reports)
- Component standardization for cost out evaluate validate approve new components Participation in quality production and process optimizing projects
- Performs drawing & technical design reviews to support supplier changes. Independently develops design solutions to resolve identified issues
- Participate in NPD Projects Participate in engineering builds pilot production Preparation and testing of products for certification/approval Participation in Design reviews and FMEA analyses
- Product approval together with 3. party institutes eq. TÜV and UL
Requirements:
- BSc or MSc degree in Engineering preferably in Mechanical or Electrical fields
- Experience in project management and product development
- Fluent in English and Hungarian both written and verbal
- Experience with PDM and SAP; CAD knowledge is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Driving license
