Job Summary
Heritage Hall is currently seeking experienced Dietary Aides for Part-Time opportunities at our Blackstone VA facility!
Job Description:
The Dietary Aide provides assistance in all dietary functions. They assist in food preparation and the serving of meals; and are involved in the cleanup of the kitchen and serving areas. There is potential for the role to become Full-Time once the employee has been established.
Part-Time from 5:30 am to 1:30 pm and12:00 pm - 8:00 pm shift varies
Note: This position requires you work weekends.
Position Requirements:
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Prior food service experience is preferred
- Prior experience as a Dietary Aide preferred
- Prior healthcare experience is preferred
- Ability to understand both written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of dietary services practices and procedures
- Knowledge of the laws regulations and guidelines governing dietary services in a long-term care facility
- Ability to operate food service equipment safely and properly
