An exciting new opportunity for a Lead Finance Specialist to join our On Wing Support business on a permanent basis attached to our Feltham site near London Heathrow. Youll be able to drive optimal performance (cost fulfillment quality cash) and profitability through the Supply Chain and Project execution. Youll have knowledge of best practices and how your own area integrates with others; youll develop an awareness of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.Job Description
Responsible for driving technical accounting compliance financial and operational internal controls process simplification and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis. Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. This opportunity may include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead and manage other invoice specialists globally to ensure standard processes are maintained consistent training adhered to and performance metrics are met
Identify any performance/knowledge gaps within the team to improve overall performance
Identify process and technical improvement opportunities to drive change and further enhance accuracy and timeliness
Keep up to date with global changes impacting invoicing and communicate to the team to ensure compliance
Responsible for supporting daily cash operating processes at the London site by ensuring accurate invoicing account reconciliations and procedural compliance
Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area
Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters
Collaborates with others to solve issues develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE Aerospace. Exchanges technical information asks questions and checks for understanding.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge and experience
Strong Excel skills
SAP knowledge
