As a SEND Teacher at Sendsory you will support children with SEND to regulate their emotions develop communication and social skills and engage positively with learning.
Your role will involve delivering our Therapeutic Curriculum working closely with a small dedicated team and providing personalised hands-on support to help each child thrive in a nurturing and structured environment.
Your responsibilities
You will lead the delivery of engaging child-centred sessions using the GROW & THRIVE curriculum ensuring each activity supports the holistic development of every child. A key part of your role will be implementing Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes within these sessions tailoring learning experiences to meet individual needs.
You will also take responsibility for accurate record-keeping and progress monitoring including:
Leadership and safeguarding are central to this role. You will manage and delegate responsibilities to a small team of SEND Teaching Assistants ensuring smooth session delivery. As the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) you will oversee all safeguarding aspects within the organisation including reporting concerns promptly and appropriately.

Finally you will ensure weekly learning outcomes within the GROW & THRIVE curriculum are completed by Friday each week maintaining high standards of delivery and documentation.
