Essential Responsibilities

• Develop and validate CMM programs (Zeiss Hexagon) both off-line and directly on the machine

• Develop and validate Robot Part Program (ABB Kuka Fanuc)

• Read and interpret drawings and other quality control requirements using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

• Ensure programs are optimized for efficiency and accuracy

• Work closely with engineering manufacturing and quality teams to resolve technical issues

• Provide feedback on design and manufacturing processes to improve quality and reduce defects

• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conforming parts

• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as needed.

• Support shop operations to guarantee Safety Quality Delivery and Cost

Qualifications/Requirements

• Master degree in Engineering or a high school diploma with an exensie experience in Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering

• PCDMIS or Calypso programming proven experience for aerospace parts and assemblies

• Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: Ability to read mechanical drawings understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and technical specifications

• Previous experience with Robot programming (ABB Kuka Fanuc)

• Fluent in Italian and English

• Work Visa in accordance with local regulation is required

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge of CNC programming for machining (turning milling)

• Knowledge of CAM and CAD system

• Familiarity with aerospace or automotive industry standards.

• Knowledge of military and commercial main component repair processes

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills

• CMM programming certifications are a plus

• Humble: respectful receptive agile eager to learn

• Transparent: shares critical information speaks with candor contributes constructively

• Focused: quick learner strategically prioritizes work committed GE Aerospace offers
