What Youll Be Doing

You will be joining the Enterprise Innovation team as a Senior Consultant Enterprise Innovation Delivery where you will play a crucial role in advancing CIBCs mission to build the bank of the future. You will help identify and explore emerging trends and technologies drive hands-on experimentation to uncover new opportunities and contribute to fostering a strong culture of innovation across the bank. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Innovation you will focus on managing and delivering innovation-driven projects collaborating with partners throughout CIBC to create and realize new sources of value.

How Youll Succeed

• Drive Cross-Functional Innovation Projects: Collaborate with teams across the organization to deliver business outcomes by applying innovation methodologies such as design thinking and Agile and leveraging knowledge of emerging technologies.
• External Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key partners in the innovation ecosystem to support and activate external capabilities aligned with CIBCs strategic goals.
• Project Management & Delivery: Lead the end-to-end management and delivery of innovation initiatives demonstrating strong project management skills in planning execution risk mitigation and stakeholder communication. Ensure projects are delivered on time within scope and aligned with strategic objectives.
• Portfolio View & Operationalization: Effectively build and maintain a consolidated view of all projects within the Innovation portfolio. Operationalize this view to enable more efficient delivery improved prioritization and focused resource allocation across the team.
• Executive Storytelling & Deck Development: Develop compelling executive-level presentations and storytelling materials to gain alignment secure buy-in and provide updates that effectively showcase the work and impact of the Innovation team to senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Relationship building: You act both autonomously and collaboratively. You forge strong relationships with various teams but working with partners to ensure the development and co-ordination of critical project elements for successful implementation. You are a great communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence to ensure alignment across dependent deliverables. You manage communications and risks proactively consistently and effectively in order to drive intended impact. You have a proven ability to partner build confidence and influence multiple stakeholders at all levels across the organization and you have the ability to deal with ambiguity and develop processes from the ground up.

• End-to-End Delivery Experience: Skilled in scoping projects mapping user journeys and leading multidisciplinary teams to achieve goals. Focused on results and works backwards from the desired state ensuring plans are aligned with defined objectives.
• Strategic Planner: Capable of building adaptable plans and communicating progress milestones and challenges to Management Expertise: Demonstrated success in project planning execution monitoring and delivery with a focus on risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Innovation-Driven: Passionate about innovation fintech and emerging technologies and experienced in delivering new capabilities. Technologically Savvy: Comfortable with technical concepts and translating them into business value.
• Client and Partner Focused: Operates with a client mindset fostering strong relationships to achieve business objectives.
• Resourceful and Entrepreneurial: Demonstrates flexibility and resilience working effectively with available resources and identifying growth opportunities. Strong Problem Solver: Possesses excellent strategic thinking conflict resolution and troubleshooting skills.
