Job Summary
The India and Emerging marketplace team builds products and services that solve unique customer needs for Amazons fast growing marketplaces. Our team is looking for highly motivated individuals to help deliver the next great innovations to reduce the core shopping experience latency for India and Emerging marketplace Customers. This position is based in our Bangalore office.
About the team
We are known as the International Emerging Stores (IES) Latency team. Our mission is to disproportionately reduce latency for all emerging shoppers EM5 (IN AE SA BR MX) EG AU SG TR bridge the gap with local Image Competitors (ICs) and bridge the gap with Best at Amazon (BAA). While our charter work backwards from the needs of emerging customer we continue to leverage WW platforms and look to improve overall product with foundational capabilities and improvements that are not only relevant in emerging stores but also for Amazon WW.
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- 3 years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development Release or Live Ops) experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
